Young Adult Group

Young Adults Now Meeting on Thursdays!

Holy Spirit has an amazing young adult group that would love to welcome new members. The young adults meet for fellowship, bible study, and volunteer opportunities. Many of our young adults have been on a mission trip to the Valley of Angels Orphanage in Guatemala and they are hoping to once again plan a trip. They have also prepared goodie bags for the homeless and helped with our parish clean ups. Life long friends are made. Come join us on THURSDAY evenings at 7:00 PM in the Hargrave Conference Room in the Driscoll Center

Serving Others

Living with social distancing, masks, and limited gatherings didn’t stop our Young Adult Group from gathering to prepare food bags for South Plains Food Bank.

Generosity Feeds, a national organization that works to get food items at a reduced cost, has teamed with South Plains Food Bank to match church groups with their local food bank to provide nonperishable items that can be handed out to the homeless and others in our community for emergency situations. Holy Spirit provided the funding for 10 bags through our Social Action funds. There was additional funding available for an additional 14 bags. 24 bags of food were delivered to the food bank.

The group ended the evening with prayer and hopes of having another service opportunity soon.
