Have you ever been confirmed in a Catholic church?
The Sacrament of Catholic Confirmation can only be received one time. If you are a Confirmed Catholic looking to re-establish your membership in the church, you are not required to go through OCIA although you are welcome if you want a refresher course! Please reach out to a priest for guidance.

Do you have a preference of someone you wish to sponsor you?
In order to join the Catholic Church and experience the Rites of Initiation, the Church requires you to have a sponsor to ‘walk’ with you through the classes, answer your questions, support you in the Rites, and help prepare you to become Catholic. You may choose your own Sponsor or we can match you with a person of like interests, age, and background. *In order to be a Sponsor/Godparent, the person cannot be directly related to you. This includes spouses or future spouses, parents and children. Sponsors must have received all their Sacraments, be an active and contributing member at a parish, and living as the Church teaches us.They must live in the Lubbock area in order to attend some classes and the Rites with you. We require a Letter of Recommendation from their parish priest if they are not a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
There is a $20 registration fee to cover cost of materials. This fee will need to be paid before the end of November.
