You may choose your own Sponsor or we can match you with a person of like interests, age, and background. *In order to be a Sponsor/Godparent, the person cannot be directly related to you. This includes spouses or future spouses, parents and children. Sponsors must have received all their Sacraments, be an active and contributing member at a parish, and living as the Church teaches us.They must live in the Lubbock area in order to attend some classes and the Rites with you. We require a Letter of Recommendation from their parish priest if they are not a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
