Consecration to St. Joseph

April 15, 2021

The 4th Commandment states: Love thy Father and thy Mother. Who is St. Joseph? Do you feel you understand St. Joseph’s greatness and love for you?  2021 is the year of St. Joseph as declared by Pope Francis. We need the spiritual fatherhood of St. Joseph now more than ever to help protect the sanctity of marriage, gender and the family. John Arcisz gave us a summary of the consecration process after Mass on March 20th. Please read below.

33 days ago our Bible Study group embarked on a journey that has changed our lives and we want to share that experience with you. We started studying the Consecration to St. Joseph, a book written by Father Donald Calloway. We committed to reading each day and meeting once per week to discuss our thoughts about the material. We followed the calendar provided by the book and were Consecrated on the feast day of St. Joseph (which was yesterday). Father George graciously facilitated the ceremony.

What does it mean to consecrate yourself? It means you acknowledge that St. Joseph is your spiritual father and that you want to imitate his actions and holiness. Although there is not much about St. Joseph in the Bible, this study gives you information and insights that you probably never even thought about.

With St. Joseph at your side, virtue and holiness will increase in your life. With St. Joseph’s paternal cloak over you, you will be protected from spiritual harm. St. Joseph is the earthly father of Jesus, the husband of the Mother of God, and the Terror of Demons!

We want you to also have the same experience we had. If you are interested in Consecrating yourself to St. Joseph, the next day to start is April 11th, which would culminate on May 13th, which is the next feast day of Our Lady of Fatima. It’s life changing! (John Arcisz)

If you are interested in joining a group, please contact John Arcisz or the office. We will have a limited number of copies of the book for sale in the office. You may also purchase the audiobook or e-book version from shopmercy.org or stjosephnow.org
