Precious Thanks and Blessings to Holy Spirit Parishioners who donated to our Angel Tree gifts for Nurturing Center. May the Blessings you have shared return to you many times over.

In addition to all the food delivered to Catholic Charities, $451 in gift cards and cash donations were received.

The Boys and Girls Club received $931 in gift cards to purchase gifts to be distributed during their annual Christmas Party. Our youth group also provided goodie bags for each of the children since they were not allowed to actually host the party this year.

Grace Campus was very grateful for the $1,793 in gift cards and cash to help their residents with medicines and supplies. Grace Campus works to enable their residents to become employed and fully self sufficient. One example is a young female resident that was able to enroll in classes.

Additionally, the Catholic Church Women United received many donations of personal items to be used by Meals on Wheels.

Through our association with One Heart Foster Alliance and Care Portal we were able to link two groups of parishioners with families needing help with gifts for the foster children (one family with 9 children, the other with 5) in their care. Our Care Portal fund helped supply some of the needs.

Finally, thanks to your overwhelming generosity St. Benedict’s was able to provide warm sweaters, coats, mittens, hats and much needed sleeping bags to those they serve.

Even in hard times, the generosity of our parish is making a big difference in our community.  Your kindness goes a long way in making a difference in the lives of others, especially at Christmas. Thank you.
